In the last few weeks, a lot has been going on in Barrie.

* The Georgian College Young Greens launched after getting approval from the college.

* The Barrie Green Party has their Earth Hour Super Drive coming up on March 31st.

* We are in the process of launching for those students who are in high school, are attending a different post-secondary institution, and/or those who aren’t attending a post-secondary institution for whatever reason.

Our mission is to bring the values of both the Canadian Green Party movement and the Young Greens movement to Barrie. Right now we’ll be doing a lot of joint events with the College group. The college group is its own club. We’re an arm of the Barrie Green Party.
